Pursuant to the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act, the act of May 19, 1995, P.L. 4, No. 1995-2, notice is hereby given that Bustleton Partners has submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection a Notice of Intent to Remediate for a site located at 2101 Cottman Avenue, City of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County. This Notice of Intent to Remediate states that the site has historically been utilized as a commercial shopping center. The site was found to be impacted by volatile organic compounds and semi-volatile organic compounds which have impacted groundwater on the site. Bustleton Partners has selected the site-specific standard and they have indicated the proposed remediation measures will be demonstration of attainment. The proposed future use of the property will remain non-residential. The Act provides for a 30-day public comment period for site-specific standard remediations. The 30-day comment period is initiated with the publication of this notice. Until 30 days after this publication date, City of Philadelphia may submit a request to Bustleton Partners to develop and implement a public involvement plan involving the municipality in the development of the remediation and reuse plans for the site.
